Choi Ga-on wins South Korea's first Olympic snow gold
Choi Ga-on, 18, Sehwa Girls’ High School, who made her name on the international stage early, won South Korea’s first-ever gold medal in skiing and snowboarding at her first Olympic Games. Choi Ga-on recorded 90.
Kim finished the day with the silver medal.
South Korea has been projected to grab three gold medals and finish 14th in the medal table at the upcoming Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
Canada's Macklin Celebrini, the team's youngest player at only 19 years old, scored with assists from Cale Makar and Connor McDavid. Celebrini was the first overall pick of the 2024 NHL draft, selected by the San Jose Sharks.
